This richly illustrated digital catalogue accompanies Aleks Danko’s exhibition ‘A(GAP)E mesmerized by some / thing…‘ at McClelland Gallery and Sculpture Park, Langwarrin, VIC. Curated by the artist himself, the exhibition featured works made by Danko over the past ten years, forming a distillation of Danko’s critique of the conventions governing the making of art, and how and where it is encountered, perceived and read.
For the catalogue new essays on Aleks’ practice have been commissioned by leading art historians and curators Oscar Capezio and Julie Ewington, respectively.
