Sutton Gallery are pleased to present works by Karen Black and Peter Robinson in this year’s edition of Sydney Contemporary. Marking the 10th anniversary of the fair, the presentation brings together two forerunning practitioners who are interested in complicating traditional modes of representation. Reworking surfaces through energetic gestures, both artists question the neutrality of their medium while conveying the intense and frenetic nature of the human experience.
