Rosslynd Piggott and Mia Boe at the Potter Museum of Art

Works by Rosslynd Piggott and Mia Boe will be on show at the Potter Museum of Art on the occasion of the group exhibition A velvet ant, a flower and a bird, guest curated by Chus Martínez (Head of the Institute Art Gender Nature, Basel Academy of Art and Design FHNW, Basel, Switzerland).

Included in the exhibition A velvet ant, a flower and a bird, Rosslynd Piggott’s work will speak to the exhibition’s wider aims of highlighting the commingled, interrelated ecologies of contemporary and historic art, whereby intelligence is envisioned as a living, evolving matter.

Alongside the main exhibition, the Potter Museum of Art’s Project Gallery is programming an additional presentation that spotlights recent acquisitions entered into the university’s art collection. Entitled The shape of us, the exhibition will include Mia Boe’s work Maniac Scholar (2024), first shown at Boe’s exhibition Imagined realistic minds at Sutton Gallery in March 2024.
