Nusra Latif Qureshi’s landmark monographic survey Birds in Far Pavilions at the Art Gallery of New South Wales has been reviewed in Memo by Amelia Langley.
In an excerpt from the review, Langley writes, “Rather than constructing a linear narrative or a direct line to tradition, Qureshi presents a series of subjective and precarious engagements with a history of representation.”
