Gordon Bennett’s work Notes to Basquiat: Totem Lesson 2 (2001) is included in the exhibition Inside the Mirage, currently on view at the TarraWarra Museum of Art. Exploring the entangled relationships between artists, temporal frameworks and geographic contexts, the exhibition centres the realities of lived experience through presenting artworks from the TarraWarra Museum of Art Collection alongside selected loans from contemporary Australian artists.
