Works from Anne Ferran’s celebrated series Scenes on the Death of Nature (1986) are currently featured in the National Gallery of Australia’s landmark exhibition Women Photographers 1883-2018. Denoting the vital and transformative role women have played in the medium’s history, the exhibition features work spanning more than 160 years.
