Mia Boe Imagined realistic minds

Sutton Gallery
2 March –
6 April 2024

Responding to the writing of seminal Murri poet, activist and artist Lionel Fogarty, this new body of work boldly confounds notions of justice, pedagogy, and intimacy. For the exhibition Imagined realistic minds, Mia Boe’s paintings offer poetic intimations of both political and relational dialectics, embracing the fraught nature of landscape and imagination.
